• Use mild cleaning agents such as soap and water or a gentle glass cleaner to avoid damaging the coating. Ensure that the cleaning agent is free from ammonia, bleach, or vinegar.
• Avoid exposing the coated surface to direct sunlight or high-temperature environments such as ovens or stovetops, as high temperatures may cause the PVD coating to discolor or peel off.
• Store products with PVD coating in a dry and cool place away from direct sunlight and other hard surfaces that may scratch the coating.
• Avoid overcrowded spaces or high places - in case it falls or bump into stuff.

For matte PVD weight:

• Avoid getting liquids on the matte PVD weight: The coating on the weight is susceptible to discoloration or peeling if exposed to any liquids. It is crucial to keep your keyboard away from liquids, especially when cleaning it.

• Do not use any cleaning solution on the matte PVD weight: While it may be tempting to use a cleaning solution to remove any dirt or dust from your keyboard, it could damage the coating. Instead, use a soft cloth or soft erasers to wipe the surface gently.

• Use boxing tape or masking tape: this is so far the best and proven way to clean the sweat and oil from the matte PVD weight - it’s important that users must avoid pressing and rubbing the tape when it’s applied on the surface as it may stick off the protection layer on the coating. Please gently tap the tape, lift it up and repeat for the best result.

For anodized, electrophoresis and coated surfaces:

• Avoid using abrasive materials and harsh chemicals. Instead, use a soft cloth or sponge and mild cleaning agents like soap and water.
