  1. Copper Weight Care Instruction

Due to the properties of copper, oxidation is unavoidable when the protective coating is penetrated by liquids or physically damaged. To prevent corrosion caused by sweat, only wipe occasionally with a water-dampened tissue.

  2. VIA - VIA (usevia.app) When editing your keymap in VIA, you'll need to load the .json file for the first time (use the web app, as the desktop app hasn't been updated recently). Make sure to download the .json file that corresponds to your specific PCB, not the mode you plan to use. For instance, a Trimode PCB will only function in VIA with the Trimode .json file. If you have a tri-mode PCB, ensure the keyboard is in wired mode before proceeding, see instructions here.

  3. FN key The key on the left of the ← key is FN or MO(1) - it will not register like other keys unless you turn on the TEST MATRIX

  4. For HOTSWAP PCB, always support your socket firmly from the back (S area) when installing switches. Failing to do this can cause the hotswap socket to detach from its pad on the PCB (X), rendering it non-functional. Depending on your soldering skills, you may attempt to repair it at your own risk. Neither Qwertykeys nor any of our vendors will replace parts damaged due to improper handling.
