<aside> 💡 1. All QK80 MK2 PCBs use QK's customized VIA web configurator for keymapping and screen customization, as the original VIA doesn't support advanced screen functions. Users do not need to load a .json file anymore. Simply connect the QK80 MK2 to your computer with a USB cable and switch the keyboard to the wired mode by pressing FN + ~.

2. FN key The key on the left of the left arrow is FN or MO(1). Unlike other keys, it will not register in the key tester. To test it, press FN+Tab and see if you can switch between different connectivity modes.

<aside> ‼️ Always support the socket firmly from the back (S area) while you're installing switches. Failure to do so can result in your hotswap socket getting pushed off from the solder pad (X area), and the socket will no longer work. Based on your soldering knowledge, you may attempt to fix it at your own discretion. Qwertykeys and all of our vendors will not replace parts damaged by customers’ mishandling.

Please note that we will not be responsible for any flaws or quality issues discovered after the building process has commenced. Additionally, we will not provide replacement parts for any missing components reported more than 30 days after the delivery date.

Preparation
