<aside> đź’ˇ This solution works for situations where users cannot switch the connection mode or cannot enter pairing mode. If customers are not aware of the correct steps to switch modes or pairing, then please consult the build guide of corresponding keyboards.

  1. Check whether your Fn and Tab keys are working.

    1. For QK65, Fn is the key above the right arrow
    2. For QK60, Fn is the key above the right Ctrl
    3. Press Fn+Esc and see if you can get a `
      1. Yes - your Fn key is good
      2. No - change a switch to see if the switch is problematic

If the Fn key still doesn’t work after changing switches, remove the switch, connect the two holes of the hotswap socket with tweezers and see if it can be triggered. If not, the hotswap socket is probably damaged. Raise a ticket in our discord server or email [email protected] for help.

  2. If your Fn key is good, but you can’t switch between connectivity modes, your keyboard is probably stuck in one of the modes, usually Bluetooth mode or 2.4g mode. We need to perform a power reset.

    1. Turn off the battery toggle
      1. For QK65, the battery toggle is beside the Spacebar
      2. For QK60, the battery toggle is beside the right Shift
      3. For QK75, the battery toggle is beside the up arrow
      4. For QK80 onwards, the battery toggle is under capslock
    2. Unplug the USB-C cable
    3. Unplug the battery, if it’s directly connected with your main PCB (e.g. qk65 and qk60)
    4. Plug the USB-C cable back in. Your keyboard should be in wired mode now.
    5. Try Fn+Tab again and see if you can switch between modes.
  3. If the above method doesn’t resolve the issue, we must perform a hard reset.
